Christian Mendez is a community organizer who has worked on an array of issues dealing with Mexican migrant families in Southern California including forced migration, workers' rights, and affordable housing. Having been part of various grassroots projects aimed at increasing community empowerment through various mediums. Currently, he provides direct support for projects in the Coachella Valley working directly with residents in various projects that aim at gaping identified needs in the community. In addition, he continues to work alongside many community-based organizations in developing community projects that prioritize the needs of community residents in the Eastern Coachella Valley. Christian holds a Bachelors in Social Work from La Sierra University.
