jack campbell clause is a Senior Design Coordinator at KDI in Nairobi. Jack returned to Kenya after over a decade in the United Kingdom training and working as a landscape architect. Jack’s master’s major project ‘Unslumming Kibera’ developed a landscape architect’s response to the informal urban settlement context. Jack worked as an intern with KDI in 2012, contributing to the design and workshops for KPSP04. Jack is convinced that design should be a purposeful endeavor for improving equality for, and between, people and nature. His experience includes working on large projects with global recognition, big budgets and decade-long delivery programmes, as well as smaller projects where close contact with the client and community make a more meaningful impact on people and the environment.

Jack holds a Bachelors in Landscape Architecture and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Leeds Beckett University.
