Bosibori is a Planning Associate at KDI Kenya. Bosibori is passionate about improving the lives of informal settlement dwellers through her continued research work in different themes in informal settlements. At KDI, she is working to support disaster risk preparedness in Nairobi through an interactive process that strengthens the voices and capacity of the urban poor. Prior to joining KDI, Bosibori worked with Akiba Mashinani Trust to document the Mukuru Special Planning Area Project; the Freidrich Ebert Stiftung on a gender justice and affordable housing in informal settlements research; and the seminal preparation of an Integrated Development Plan for Mukuru informal settlement. Bosibori holds a master’s degree from University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and a bachelor’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Nairobi.
