Spring Graphic Design Intern

KDI is currently seeking a Graphic Design Intern who is passionate aboutcommunity-driven development to work with our Design and Planning Departments. The position is based in our downtown Los Angeles office, but may require travel to our projects in the Eastern Coachella Valley. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in participatory design processes on a wide-range of project types.


The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with the Design and Planning teams on a variety of work projects, ranging from mobility plans to street activations to built works. This position is geared towards a designer that has deep interest in the intersection of graphic design and social justice, and will assist our team ingenerating new concepts, problem solving, and project execution. Other job responsibilities may include community outreach, fabrication help, and project documentation.


This internship is only open to students that have work-study options or can receive course credit from their respective institutions. Weekly time commitments are flexible and open for discussion based on the circumstance, with a minimum of 12 hours/week.
