KDI started working with residents in North Shore, Coachella Valley in 2013 to design and develop a new Productive Public Space. From this process, the community identified a need and desire to develop a microenterprise group, Delicias Laguna Azul. This group of residents is defining what local entrepreneurship looks like in a rural community like North Shore, all while highlighting local culture through their food.
