planning associate
Corinne is a Planning Associate at KDI’s Los Angeles office. She is motivated by a desire to ensure that built environments are responsive to the needs and priorities of the people who live in them, particularly in neighborhoods that have experienced historic and ongoing disinvestment.
Corinne is passionate about participatory design and community-centered planning and has extensive experience in public engagement. She has supported city- and county-level General Plan updates, resilience and park planning efforts, climate vulnerability and suitability analyses, and public art and interpretation initiatives. Her graduate capstone research examined the role and efficacy of cooling centers in extreme heat response in Los Angeles’ most heat-vulnerable communities. Corinne holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Foreign Affairs and Spanish from the University of Virginia and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA.
