Ian is the Managing Operations Director at KDI. He is passionate about enabling communities to create more equitable, inclusive, and effective neighborhoods. Prior to joining KDI, Ian co-founded and managed a nonprofit technology company that developed Internet-of-Things devices that collect environmental and public health data in developing regions. Ian has also worked as an attorney at global law firms in Los Angeles and Houston, representing clients in the banking and financial services industries. Ian holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Michigan, a law degree from the University of Virginia, and a Master’s of Library and Information Science from UCLA.
