Irene Asuwa is a Senior Research Coordinator at KDI Kenya. Irene is a social scientist and an organically trained public intellectual who has worked with communities and organizations across a range of social justice issues, with a strong grounding in ecological and climate justice. Her work spans legal and policy framework analysis, qualitative research, advisory and technical support, and language justice. She brings experience across multiple sectors and contexts and a background in political science and sociology to her work at KDI.
