Leslie is a Landscape Design Coordinator based in our Los Angeles office. She is interested in exploring the possibilities for social learning and co-authorship within landscape architecture. Leslie’s work at KDI focuses on integrating history and storytelling within design for projects like the Future Histories: a Park History Toolkit, campus greening designs for Mar Vista Gardens, and the Chollas Creek Watershed Master Plan. Before pursuing graduate studies, she taught environmental ethics, local ecologies, and wilderness skills to high school students in the Rocky Mountains. Leslie holds dual Masters degrees in Landscape Architecture and Heritage Conservation from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Concepts of Human Nature from Colorado College.
