Planning Coordinator
Rebecca is a Planning Coordinator in the Coachella office, where she advances inclusive, equitable, and climate-resilient community planning. She has experience in design, planning, and policy across Denmark, France, and Washington, alongside over six years of environmental justice advocacy in the Eastern Coachella Valley, where she grew up. She holds BAs in Global Studies and Spanish from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Urban Design and Planning from the University of Washington. Her graduate thesis on the design and resilience of mobile home parks in the ECV was supported by the Dr. Lisa Sable Brown Research Fellowship at the UW Center for Human Rights. In 2020, she was named a USA Today Leaders of Change – Environment honoree.
