Community Principal
Christian Rodriguez Ceja is a Community Principal at KDI’s Coachella office, where he integrates his passion for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice into his work. Dedicated to fostering a just public realm, Christian leads planning and community engagement initiatives that empower residents and create lasting positive change in BIPOC communities. Christian attended Loyola University Chicago where he studied Political Science and brings extensive experience to his role. Since 2020, he has served as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Indio and was appointed to the California Inland Empire APA Board in 2022. Before joining KDI, Christian spent seven years as a faith-based community organizer and retreat leader during Seminary School, refining his expertise in advocacy, collaboration, and community building. Today, he continues to advocate for equity and inclusion, collaborating with his team to develop sustainable, community-driven solutions. Christian lives in Indio with his husband, staying deeply connected to the community where he grew up.
