Jesús is the Senior Operations Coordinator at Kounkuey Design Initiative. He is responsible for day-to-day office operations and providing multifaceted support to KDI staff and projects. Jesús is passionate about environmental justice and improving public transit across Los Angeles. He is also committed to increasing access to and use of green spaces for low-income communities of color. Prior to joining KDI, Jesus worked as a youth mentor and coach specializing in social emotional learning with the nonprofit Connected Camps. Jesús holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Latinx Studies from Williams College.
