Planning Associate
Pascal is a Planning Associate at KDI’s Nairobi Office. He is passionate about evidence-based, data driven, and participatory planning and urban policy processes that promote equitable access to opportunities and improve quality of life for people living in urban areas. At KDI, Pascal provides support to all planning projects with particular focus on designing and coordinating participation and co-development strategies for urban resilience, including supporting research and policy advocacy. Prior to joining KDI, he worked as a Programmes Officer (Research and Urban Development) at Eco-Build Africa, where he coordinated and provided technical support for applied research and policy advocacy projects. He has also worked as a Research and Development Consultant at RE/MAX Kenya Limited, as well as supporting various projects on fire hazard risk analysis in informal settlements, urban housing renewal in low-income housing estates, and planning and design of public spaces in low-income neighborhoods. Pascal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Nairobi.
